Adjustments

Our Chiropractic Techniques

Dr. Brandon incorporates and is proficient in several techniques including Full Spine/ Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, SOT, Activator, Flexion/Distraction and Pro Adjuster computerized Adjusting. When a vertebrae shifts out of place, there is an overall systemic response from the muscular system to the central nervous system. Without proper alignment and flow, our nerves, our immune system, and our minds cannot function at their highest peak.

The primary adjusting techniques we use include:

adjust

Activator Methods®

This is a system of spinal evaluation combined with a handheld adjusting instrument that delivers a consistent, low-force thrust.

Diversified

After identifying which vertebrae have lost their normal motion or position, a specific manual thrust is applied to free up “stuck” spinal joints

SOT

Sacro Occipital Technique helps normalize the relationship between the pelvis and the head, using gravity to make the necessary correction

Thompson

Thompson Terminal Point technique is a system of analysis and a special table that reduces the amount of energy needed to adjust your spine

Flexion-Distraction

This non-force approach uses a special table so we can traction your spine, relieving pressure to compressed spinal discs and facet joints

Cox Flexion/distraction Technique is a non-surgical procedure that works with the body’s design to encourage a natural healing process, relieve spinal pain and return patients to the desired quality of life. The technique has been proven by a large number of clinical trials and studies. It upholds the rigorous scientific standard that we require from all of our procedures. Cox Flexion/distraction Technique is a highly effective alternative to back and neck surgery, even in cases so severe that it seems that surgical intervention is inevitable.
